    Ken,

I have had the beta version for a couple of weeks, and the only trouble I have
had so far is when I tried setting the directory path to point at my ozpack
scenery. Some scenery files use fsasm and scasm etc etc, and if yours does
then you have to put these dll's into the mscfs modules subdirectory before
attempting to utilise the scenery concerned. If you dont do that, the beta
version at least will crash. Also you can simply copy your planes across from
the fs98 aircraft folder into the mscfs aircraft folder and they work fine, but
the reverse hasn't been the case for me. The fs98 AAFconverter will not
convert the combat planes into fs98, at least I couldnt get it to do it.

Regarding blowing up ships, there is an adventure about surface action against
nazi gunboats. I flew that one, and got so wrapped up in it I forgot to watch
my altitude and ended up a submarine! Very neat graphics, the boats shoot back
and do explode. Not sure about carrier battle groups though, you will have to
    try that.

I am not sure if the scenery in it isnt a tad better than the fs98 stuff
either. To my less than perfect eyes, there seems to be less flickering, and
    some very nice detail.

Anyway, hope that answers your questions.

Ive seen in the reviews that FS98 Scenery will install into CFS. Has
anyone tried yet? Also, like FS98, can you fly around the world or do ya just
    gotta fly in Europe?
If FS98 Scenery will install into CFS and if you can fly to the South
Pacific, try downloading and installing my FS98 scenery of the Battle of
Guadalcanal. Go to file search and type: GuadCnl.zip
Iam wondering if you will be able to Blow up the WW2 Aircraft Carrier and
    Battlegroup there.
If ya check this out for me, please post your results here. THANKYOU

Ken, I loaded my FS98 scenery into CFS and had no problem. I did notice that
some ground textures were different (not much to really notice) but everything
was just fine. I didn't copy any scenery files into the CFS scenery directory,
I went into the CFS scenery library, searched, and loaded just like FS98.
    Worked great.
I don't know what happened last night, while in bed, but this morning I
could only do "free flight", no campaign, single or quick combat missions.
Kept getting kernell32.dll and fe.dll fault, and the game would close. I
reinstalled the game and everything works fine, but I don't have an FS98
scenery loaded into CFS. I'm going to load my FS98 scenery again and see if I
    can generate the same problems.
Hopefully I answered your question(s). Happy Flying....
