I upgraded to Windows XP after having a lot of problems with Win98 1st Ed. on
my new PC. Everything was then fine with FS98 for a while... until I tried to
use certain panels with HGHB gauges. I get the above error messages and FS98
crashes out.

I think someone else has posted this problem before and got no reply, I am
putting it up again in case anyone else has had this and knows a fix.

I'm really tearing my hair out with this one. Short term, I guess the solution
is to go through each panel, find out which ones crash, find which gauge does
it, and put in an alternative gauge ( a shame 'cos HGHBs are real good). Long
term, i'm really giving consideration to adding a second HD (I need more space
anyway), making a partition on it, and setting this up with an older Windows
(98SE, 2K, ME) so I can boot up from that if I want to use FS98. That has its
own problems, of course, so if anyone had a direct fix i'd be so grateful.
