I open the default flight at Meigs and apply full throttle to gain takeoff
speed. I apply a couple of taps of up elevator and the Cessna starts to climb.
However, the VSI swings wildly from one extreme to the other and the plane bobs
up and down. It is impossible to maintain a steady climb or control altitude. I
get this effect even at FPS of 50 or more. I use a Sidewinder Precision Pro
joystick for the throttle. Even when I turn the throttle wheel all the way down
(cut throttle) the tachometer will still sometimes show RPMs in the 1000-1500
range. With these problems, I cannot control this airplane. Any suggestions?
Thanks.
