After spending about 10+minutes trying to log in,I'mm packin it up and
headin out. It is now apparent that this site is becomming more pay than free
and will more than likely become an all pay site. If anybody needs to get ahold

of me they can stop by my hangar or try The Old Hangar or over to the sim vets
site. There are those who will argue in favor of the first clas
membership,that's fine,go ahead and do so. But,when this site is all pay and
the rates take a quantum leap you can look in the mirror and thank yourself for

it. I wanted to give Nels the benefit of the doubt and let him show us that the

site was still free. Well,if taking 10 to 30+ minutes qualifies it as a free
site then he needs to take down the free access sign and just say it is a pay
only site,because with the more people that pay the less free nodes there are
and pretty soon you have no more free nodes and right now if it takes that long

to get in then it ain't worth it. There are other truly free sites around the
globe that have most if not all the aircraft here and some that aren't here.
And there are truely free forums to chat in and have a good time. So all you
first classers now will shortly have your own private little site....enjoy it.
And as soon as the people who build aircraft realize that the site is all
pay(and they will be told by myself and others) they will pull their aircraft
out of it as it is freeware so you first class members not only will have to
pay to get in...you can pay for the aircraft as well as well as utilities and
such. You can put your noses high up and claim to be the "elite" of simulation
cause you have your very own pay site. Enjoy it. As for me, I'm outta here. I
feel as though I was lied to about better access and used to make sure that
those who listened to me followed along in sticking out the move and all the
trouble that followed only to finally realize that the real truth is that what
I had thought when it all started to happen was the truth and that this was
becoming a pay site. So ta ta and those of you who have a first class paid
membership,well enjoy your new site.

forever to get in to post this,I ain't goin through the hassel again to come in

and lurk. You wanna talk to me I told you where you can find me.Oh,and I will
be pullin off all of my files here as they are freeware and are not to be paid
for and that includes entry to get to them and they will be posted at a free
site.

I agree with Mutt, I tried for 3 days to get into the site, and after about 25
minutes today I guess I got lucky. As Mutt said it is not worth it any more I
will find my files at other sites, and if they are only here than I guess I
really don't need them. I enjoy Nels site the way it is set up and the ease of
navigating through it, but i don't want to spend days trying to get in to it.
Like Mutt said Freeware should be just that Free. If you have to pay to have
access to the site than it is not truly freeware anymore is it? I guess I will
browse the site to see whats new, I may try at times to access it but I will
not go the 25 minutes again, If He (Nels) comes right out and says it is a pay
site that would be another thing altogether, but by cutting the nodes, to make
it harder to get in is not the way to do it.

This is my first success at entering since Christmas. Each day I tried four
times. early afternoon, early evening, late evening and midway through the
night, like right now, it's 1:40 A.M. With each session, and they were
sessions, I tried continously for 15 minutes. I can only conclude that Nels has
restricted the free nodes to such as point that one's expection of entry is now
about nil. That means that to have access to the FREEWARE FILES one needs to
PAY. So Nels is now DE-FACTO charging to download FREEWARE FILES. No other
conclusions can be reached. I wonder how many of those freeware designers are
aware of this change. I will "e" mail him to offer him a chance to explain and
perhaps rectify.
