one of Charlotte Airport. Unzip the file, ran a convertion program from MSI am trying to add scenery and airport to my MS FLTSIM4. I recently downloaded
FLTSIM4 and install in the FLTSIM directory. The airport shows up in the menu
BUT, when you active it, it will work for 3 seconds and then the sound goes
away. You can increase the throtte but the plane doesn't move. What is wrong
and how can I fix it?
I suspected as much. The convert program in FS4 is only to be used with thefor converting scenery disks and SubLOGIC scenery disk. What was the conversion program? I've never heard of such a thing for FS4.Thanks.

original SubLOGIC disks. I doubt that anything you download from the Internet
will require its use. But as you've already indicated in another message
you'll probably need ASD (Aircraft & Scenery Designer) for FS4. If the scenery
file has a .SC1 extension then you will need ASD - these just overlay the
default scenery so you don't need to choose a new scenery disk but you do need
to be in the area that it covers. If the scenery has a .SCN extension you
don't need ASD - just copy the file to your FS4 directory and select it from
the scenery menu to replace the default scenery. Feel free to contact me
direct on kdehoog@cygnus.uwa.edu.au.
