Even when Microsoft released FS5 a few years back interest and usage of FS4
did not stop. Even now that's still the case. If you're still using FS4,
FlightSim.Com will continue to provide support for you!

Well, I don't know about anybody else, but as a dyed-in-the-wool Macintosher I have been quite perturbed by the callous indifference on the part of the major sim authors towards generating Mac versions of all the great innovations that the rest of you seem to be having incredible amounts of fun with (that has to be the longest grammatically-correct sentence I have ever written.). Anyway, when will I (and all Macpilots) be allowed to go boldly where everybody else has already gone before, hmmmm?

Well, I really couldn't say...I've never owned or used a Macintosh so I've
never followed that market at all. My gut feeling is that the biggest
problem is that the Mac has become a niche product so the mainstream
companies just don't bother supporting it...not enough money to be made
by doing so.

I'm stuck on ole 4, but not jus' cuz I'm cheap. I discovered fs4 planes
on the net, but my fs4 locks up on spot. Don't have aaf or asd. My fs4
is 4.00, not 4.0b - is that why it freezes? I'd upgrade, if I could
find 4.0b, but that's becoming harder than I expected. I'd appreciate

As I recall, the only way to get the FS4 upgrade was to contact Microsoft
and request it. They'd mail it to you, and it actually didn't cost anything.
At this time, though, I doubt the offer is still good so I really don't
know where you'd get it.
