why is it whenever i climb above a cloud layer i can see the ground scenery?
I can set the cloud deck for 1000feet to 1500feet and once above 1500 feet
I can see the ground .this is no fun when doing instrument approuches.

Check your visibility setting...you may need to drop the flight vis down to a
mile or less and you'll get a more accurate IFR representation.
