fs 5.0a will run in windows 95 or 98 under a dos promt

Newer versions of windows such as 2000 or me edition i believe do not
have Dos functions....could be wrong on this one though...

the 3d card on your new system may bring you to only vga mode seeing fs5
is not 3d compatable and the svga drive will not work...

the fs5.0a upgrade can be downloaded at the Microsoft web site...

I've been unable to round up enough conventional memory on my machine. I've got
256 meg (AMD6, 500Mhz), but FS5.0 won't install without 640 conventional..any
way arounf this? Also, couldn't find 5.0a upgrade at flightsim.com. Thanx for
your help
