Well In That Case Why Hasn't Anyone Made A Converter
For Those Air~Crafts Made For BAO Flight Shop ,For
Version FS5.0x, FS5.1 CD
It Only Looks For A Key To Inform That FSFS Is Present
On The User's PC , I Mean They Dont Charge To Download
The Converter's For FSFW 95,98,2000 Kinda Odd Yes ?
I Mean Whats The Big Deal ? They Can't Make Anymore Money
Off It Any Way .

why didnt they do that???
Great question......5 years ago you could get fs5.1 any where and for a few
years FSFS was the add on to have..infact walk into any EB store and it was
there....
It just got pushed to the side....FS5.1 was DOS based and when fs95 and later
fs98 came out the need for a converter was not needed....Infact fs 5.1
has been forgotten by many...FSFS does alot to fs5.1 besides aircraft...
It adds panels,Atc and a flight planner plus upgrades fs5.1 to version d..
The catch is Apollo made FSFS first version then BAO made the second version
and seeing fs5.1 was developed by BAO it all makes sense when Microsoft bought
everyone out...Gee It all dissapeared....fs95 came out...and when fs98 came
out Abucus came out with af99 which is basically is FSFS in a newer form...
It comes down to some guy not having the desire to make a converter....
The demand is not there.....

Good question.....Who owns FSFS...I believe microsoft does seeing they bought
out BAO and Apollo software is now sombody else....

Its pretty big to zip up...but its comes down to the legal stuff....
Iv seen FSFS on the swap nets for $5-$15 and ask how legal is that....
seeing you dont own the CD you basically have purchased the right to use it...
If you read the Law on the FSFS book or any software the swap net is breaking
federal trade laws....
All this to fly imaginary airplanes in a imaginary world....and loving it!

OK then I have decieded that it is OK to trade or what have you the old stuff!
not sell for profit but copy and LOAN to others to test out!!! LOL

Now I need some addons for F5.5 and F4 any takers i have lots of old stuff to
trade.

Thanks for the last straw helping me make up my mind.
