Hello, Pete,
I'm writing this from Tucson where I'm attending a Mitsubishi preview. Today
I had one of their new Eclipse Spyders on a drive and I passed by your aircraft
graveyard at Davis-Monohan (spelling?) AFB. Also visited Pima Air Museum, which
is quite a place. Other museums (the NE Air Museum at Bradley, for instance)
have better inside displays, but this one has scads of aircraft outside. Three
B52s, a B58, B47, an SR-71 (that looks more operational than the display one at
San Diego), a huge YC-14, etc, etc, etc.
Through your neat scenery, I knew the lay of the land, sort of.
Thanks. -- Dennis S, FSEngEd@AOL.COM

I wish i was there.....from pete
Whats funny dennis,,,Is that i make this scenery and fly around it and
its like iv been there....Im making Chandler Memorial field which
is north of tucson but south of pheonix..I had maps and the web so i
called one of the fire bomber contractors and talked to the dispatcher
after a while discribing all the airports NDBs,,VORs,,and runways The
guy said i knew more about the AVRA valley and Marana county than many
of the pilots he knows...

If you want to give that Rice Rocket a try out shoot north 30 miles and
stop at the Pinal Air PArk in marana they Have a road coarse at the airport
I think the fee is $30 bucks...In flight sim 98 the road coarse is free....

when my kids get older where going to hit Bradley field and the combat
air museum in new york...
