Since new FS5 non-fsfs planes are fairly rare, I thought it was worth
announcing my latest. It's a Wallis autogyro, converted / adapted from
Ian Standfast's beautiful Little Nellie (Fslight Shop) model.
I posted it to flight-sim.iup.edu today, so it should reach this site over
the weekend. And since it's nearly Easter, there may even be an easter egg
in it... Happy flying !

I was wondering, I have a 486/33 and I was thinking about puchising FS for
win95 and I was wonder how the frame rate is at High Res. with all aircraft
options on (except shadows) and sparce Dynamic senery and Complexity. And is
the frame rate worth $54 Canadian?

for the textures on the plane and the textures on the buildings. I would not
buy it right now until you have a Pentium or higher or a very fast 486. I
don't usually fly now with the bad frame rates in FS95.
When i fly across the atlantic i have to travel more then 2000 miles before i
come in contact with a VOR in America. Even though i am on autopilot and on
the correct heading, i still find myself about 100-150 miles off target. Any
ideas on making trans-atlantic flights easier?

lat-lon coordinates of your destination and the autopilot will take you right
there.

heres some advice....
I listen to air craft comming acsross the atlantic on my shortwave radio..
Gander New Foundland dispatch is on 5.598 mhz SSB...
the aircraft flying from europe call in about every 15 minutes with a
latitude and longitude and hight...
example.....klm 4350 at 41.35 north 68.50 west expect 42.35 north
69.50 west at 22:00 hours maintaining 20....over
I think pulling out a map and planning your route via lats and longs
might make your trip more easy.....I will note I found that the flight sim
lats and longs are not exact to the real world...
example if i use the new bedford ,ma lat and long in the real world
to find the airport fs puts me out in the atlantic ocean about a mile off the
coast
.....just so advice from drquest
