Someone really ought to think about making an FG-2 Corsair for CFS 1 and FS 98.

The FG-2 was made under contract by goodyear. It had a bubble canopy and a
more powerful engine but was otherwise identical to the vought series of
    aircraft.

Perhaps someone named "Alan L'Homme"? {G} There is a very nice Corsair in the
stacks that was also converted for use with CFS. As far as getting that
specific, keep in mind that you couldn't get that fine a change in detail with
FS98/CFS, so the Chance Vought version would look just as good.

Actually I believe he is referrng to the Goodyear F2G (it does make a
    difference where the "2" goes).

The FG-1D was the Goodyear built F4U-1D. The F2G was, as described, an
extensively redesigned FG-1, including a higher rated P&W R-4360-4, bubble
canopy, etc. There is an existing model of the F2G in racing colors, and a
CFS1(?) version of the same model.
