Default FS2002 - One added benefit of the Nvidia card...

Been flying with my new Geforce 2/Ti for several weeks now, and it's been great and stable. But what has really suprised me is the improvement in the "Mach1+" blurries... I am now able to fly my F16 at 1000+ kts, and the only "blurries" I see are caused by the textures whizzing by so fast!

I never used to be a fan of fighter jets. Although fluid, FS98 looked poor, texture wise and FS2000's stutters during hard turns didn't give a sense of flight. But FS2002 with a F16 at treetop level is a sight to behold.... I've never experienced such a sensation of speed in a flightsim before, including those of the "shoot 'em up" genre...

Once again, thanks to Simon & L. Adamson for their suggestions and screenshots showing what these cards can do.

Did you do any tweaking and/or download the latest nVidea driver?
    Any improvements to speak of?

I played around with the tweaks about a week after I received the card. I've found the default settings the most visually appealing for my tastes, and the driver I'm using is the 21.83. I generally won't update drivers if I'm getting good and stable results with a specific set, which is the case with the 21.83 drivers (supporting a WAN has given me a strong "If it ain't broke...." ethic).

    Thanks for your response.

Captain S has been warning people about updating to the newest drivers as well. Probably good advice unless a fix is definately needed.
