Hi S.S:

Just a thought, you might be a bit more successful if you can focus on a more
finely defined area and it's accompanying coordinates. To that end you might
want to take a look at:

BGL Toolkit - A freeware utility to quickly view the "Table of Contents" of
Flight Simulator scenery files (.BGLs) then resolve scenery
conflicts/duplications by creating appropriate "Exclude" files from the
information displayed. This utility is primarily designed for users, who have a
number of conflicting scenery files and who wish to quickly create "Exclude"
files in a Windows environment - which will disable parts of scenery areas
which are lower in the FS loading hierarchy.

Download it from www.scenery.org (under Design, Utilities “B”)

BTW, while you're there, don't forget to pick-up a copy of the companion
tutorial. (under Tutorials, Miscellaneous)

Good luck

How can I exclude specific default scenery objects in CFS2? (Examples;
"INF_Palm_tree"=Palm Tree, "INF_AAA_gun_site"=Antiaircraft Gun Emplacement,
"INF_Wharfs"=Wharf) I don't wish to exclude all scenery objects,just specific
objects. I believe this can be done using an exclude command in scenery.cfg.
(Example; [Area.017]
Group=Midway
ID=Midway Sand Island
Title=Midway Sand Island no objects
Active=TRUE
Layer=13
Local=SCENEDB\Midway 1942
Exclude=N28 12.65,W177 21.03,N28 11.75,W177 19.06,objects
Remote=
Required=FALSE) This exclude command removes the default runway on Midway.
I wish to retain some default scenery objects for use with my imported scenery
(Midway Atoll, 1942) and remove,or delete,objects that appear in the water or
on runway,like the palm trees and gun emplacements...Or on the other hand...Is
there a way I can use default CFS2 scenery objects with Airport v2.60? Thanks
for any advise. S.S.
