Default 3rd Party Error when choosing a plane

Hi all, could anyone help me solve this little problem..

I downloaded a PBY (Austina.zip), installed it all properly, loaded fs2002, choose the plane and up popped an error saying that fs2002 was unable to load the plane due to a 3rd party error and then it pointed to the MDL file...

This has also happened on several other planes I have downloaded, but I can't remember what they were now :)

    Can anyone help please??

I would (if it's the .mdl file) take it of your machine...if it's a guage or fssound.dll there are things you can do....if it's the .mdl file unless you know how to edit them, like I said probably better off removing the folder......sorry...anyone else...

    Thanks for you reply...
The MDL file is "supposed" to be for FS2002 that's why I cannot understand why I am getting this error..
Unfortunatly I cannot contact the author (Design By Harry Follas and Brian Horsey. - Flight dynamics by Alejandro Villa) as there is no e-mail address's in the ZIP file of the plane, that's why I thought I would post on here hoping for some help....
But yes, you are right, if it was one of the others I could do something, but the error pointed directly at the *.MDL file, so I gues I am stuck with removing the aircraft...

Incase anyone is wondering or is interested in the little problem above, here is the answer:

The MDL file was corrupted which sometimes happens with XP users (don't ask why cause I don't know)
But thanks to a friend, I downloaded a little program called MDLRepair, ran that, it repaired the MDL file, which now works properly...

Hi; Where did you get that program MDLRepair, I'd like to have it in my system too just in case I need it. I'm running Windows 98 2nd version.

    Hi Robin,
I got model repair from http://www.flyafa.com/lib.html

I also noticed that it also on most of the bigger sites as well, so it pretty easy to find :)

Just ignore the "fs2000" that's mentioned, cause it works on fs2002 :)

    Regards - John...
