Hello All,

This year is the 65th Anniversary of Amelia Earhart's ill-fated World Flight of
1937 where she and navigator Fred Noonan perished on their way to Howland
Island in the Pacific. Their aircraft was the Lockheed Electra 10E.

In their honor I'm replicating a flight-sim version of the portion of the
flight that they completed, Oakland, California, to Lae, New Guinea, plus the
incomplete leg to Howland Island.

My dilemma? Neither FS2000 nor FS2002 have an "airport" listed for Howland
Island.

All I need is a single "dirt" strip, more accurately coral if possible, that
can be added to both FS2000 and FS2002. No buildings, no VASI lights, etc ...
but maybe a Windsock, too.

Can someone put that scenery-file together for me?

If the project is not real difficult, there are a few other "airports" needed,
but I have near-by work arounds, so they're not critical. But it would be nice
for historical accuracy. They would be equally simple, perhaps a single
building with the airstrips.

This is a non-commercial venture, and I would like to post it on Flightsim.com
on completiion. Full credit would be given to the scenery designers that
helped. Earhart's flight began on May 20, 1937. I would like to post the FS
version on May 20.

Thank you very much.
