    Default Need help with Exclude/Flatten

I have just begun using ariport to desing an airport and some scenery around
it, and am doing fine, except for one area. I originally wanted to design in
FS2000 but can't figure out how to flatten the terrain, therefore, my runway
looks like it floating in one area and buried in another. I have experimented,
but when I compile, airport says that there has been an error in creating the
exclude bgl file. I settled for designing in fs98, although my problem there is
that I do not like the way that the runway that I am designing scenery for
looks, and I can't get rid of it. I guess I could just move everything to
another location, but I would be more interested in learning in learning how to
fix this problem. The airport area that I am working with is in Ecuador, South
America. If you or someone you know would be interested in my finished product,
I will be uploading it as soon as it is complete. Any help that anyone can
provide will be appreciated. In the meantime, I will just keep experimenting.

doesn't work. I guess I could just move everything to another location, but I

would be interested in my finished project,I will be uploading it as soon as it
is complete. It is coming along quite well, I just need to know how to flatten
the terrain and/or exclude default scenery without getting an error or problem
with exclusion file or bad file format messages after I compile. Any help that
anyone can provide will be appreciated. In the meantime, I will just keep
    experimenting.
