Default FSD Cheyenne 400 Release Today

As some of you may know, the FSD Cheyenne 400 has been in beta testing for some time. However, according to Steve Small at FSD, she should be released today (Thursday). There are some on-line database issues to resolve first which they are now addressing. So, you may want to keep an eye out at their site: http://www.fsd-international.com/

In the meantime, here are some shots I took a while ago during beta testing. These shots show the beta model, which has been update since then for improved frame rates.

    Hi Randy-

Yes and no. :-) They will be releasing the POH as a Word Document or RTF document. However, according to Steve, this may not occur at the time the aircraft is released. Until the POH is converted, you will be able to find the HTML version in the aircraft folder after installation.

Just to lend weight to what Jeff is saying:

This is undoubtedly the most sophisticated flight model EVER for a FS product, if not in the history of simulation. Aspects of the MS base code for the aerodynamic and engine model have been re-compiled via the .air file to ensure accuracy and a genuine representation of the real thing.

You absolutely, positively will make your enjoyment of this product INFINITELY greater, if you read the flaming manual before trying to fly this bird...

You will absolutely, positively be wasting your money if you buy this product expecting it behave like the dumbed-down MS flight models. It's altogether more advanced. The Cheyenne 400LS is a sophisticated high-end model, only 41 of which were ever produced. It's performance puts certain bizjets to shame but it requires real pilotage skills to master.

This is a model for simmers, not gamers.
