Default Autogen Suppressed with the Airport 3.0 Build 192 in FS2002

    Hi!

I'm having troubles with the the Airport 3.0 Build 192 in FS2002. As I create a 3D object or a building and set the .bgl into FS, that erases the default autogen

Someone already saw that? I've looked into this forum but I didn't catch any thread on that

Well, I've checked and it seems that the disappearance of the autogen occurs each time I install any new scenery, generally, into FS2002. Thus seems related to FS2002 and not Airport for Windows. Pffff!

It has been quite some time since I did anything with FS2002, but generally, AFW is for designing airports and not scenery outside the bounds of an airport. In designing the airport, exclusion areas are made which will eliminate the autogen.

You need to use autogen SDK tools, or terrain tools to place objects outside airport boundaries. You may still be able to get these tools from the Microsoft.

You might also visit www.avsim.com , MSFS scenery design forum for additional help.

That's a possibility. Although it seems that APW 3.0 is generating exclusion areas in a separate bgl

Further, I'd never experience such a disappearance until now

Further still: the same disappearance now appears on a default installation by the sole fact that I activate the additional sceneries library commands. Very bizarre I'm going to work that out further in the limits of my capacities and report

Well! I worked the question further and it appears that the waning of the autogen was something I'd never noticed when working with sceneries and that FS2002 by default works purely and simply that way

Remains now to that I have Airport for Windows (APW) back to work, as, in the move, I disinstalled the install of it I had and that I struggling to have it work now

    So, the point should be:

-each time one installs a new scenery into FS2002, the autogen fades or disappear
-the autogen, with the scenery installed, is back once one quits FS and one fires it back
-I'll verify if that's definitively true with a scenery made the most recently with APW (as soon, so, I have it back working )
-accessorily, I do not think APW is meant to build airport and airport areas only
