Hello I am the president of Capital Airways. I am a pilot for a few VA's now and I have also been the COO of two VA's. I have wanted to start a VA for awhile now but never have. The last few months of 2007 I had been thinking about it a lot and started coming up with ideas for a VA. The grand opening of Capital Airways is set for March.

We still have a number of staff positions open these include
Vice President
Chief Operations Officer
Hub Manger
Fleet Manger
Pilots
Graphic designers
And others.

Our website is not done yet. When we have the home page complete I will be putting a link up for everyone to see. We will be buying a domain name before the grand opening. We will be using VAFS for our pireps.

Capital Airways will have a fleet of 5 CRJ 200’s, an Airbus A 319, and a Boeing 767-200. As of right now the A319 is in the paint shop and should be out in a few days. I will get a shot of it as soon as it gets done. We expect two add more aircraft as we grow. Before adding aircraft types we will let the pilots vote on the types they would like to see.

Capital Airways has its main hub in Washington Dulles(KIAD) we currently operate flights in the northern part of the country and in to Florida. We are still working to the routes we are going to use the B767 for. If anyone has any ideas for those routes please let me know what you would like to see. As the airline grows we will be adding more cities. The same goes for this just like adding more aircraft to the fleet the pilots will get to vote for the new cities they would like to have.
