Christian Stock of the SimPilotNet Magazine (SimPilotNet.com) wants to start a new project regarding advanced FSX shaders, said project to be done under the auspices of fsOC. Because I don’t understand these things I asked Christian to send along a short writeup. Here’s what he sent ...

“Ever dreamed to push the boundaries of Flight Simulator graphics? We're looking for an enthusiastic and visionary team to take the HLSL shaders of FSX to the next level. Want to participate in getting cloud shadows onto the terrain and to create other visually stunning effects? If you think you know DirectX shaders or feel up to the task to learn shader programming and are passionate about pushing the boundaries in FSX, we want to hear from you to join our freeware team.”

So ... If you’d like to sign on to this project, please send an email to mike@fsopencomponents.com. I’ll add you to the fsOC membership and then put you in touch with Christian.
