    Default Need help please !!!

I have spent the whole day trying several ways & applications to cut off some autogen trees that appears in the middle of a new airstrip I have being bulding as a begginer airp designer.

I guess finally made some progress with ExcBuilder cause this one gave me a exclusion file in xml. I put this file inside my project and nothing happens till i fund need the help of the famous BGLcompiler... my question is: When you drag the xml to the BGLcompiler where the BGL is suposed to end to find it ?

Or im still missing something ?

    Regards !

Generally in the folder the xml came from. However, if there are errors you need to be able to see them. There is a small tool on www.FSDeveloper.com in the download section called Compiler Helper. Use this to see the output from BglComp

I don't use ExcBuilder2 but I thought it would create a bgl file. If it is not then you may have an error in the code. The most common problem is that you must be aligned to the north when getting the top left and bottom right corners to get an exclude to compile

    Jon...Thank you very much.

Yes the north aligment was something you may count it.
Also the commas dilema. I did not notice the mistake but around 2 hours & several headaches after the post lol.

I made 2 sucessfull exclusion experiments and the autogen trees finnally dissapear from the runways so I feel some progress at the moment.

    Regards !

I keep forgetting to mention that BglComp will onlt accept a decimal separator in the xml. It has given me problems for years!
