Default EZ Scenery & RWy 12

Greetings to the Group - I just purchased EZ Scenery and found it to be pretty neat. I set out a couple of docks for my floats and the program work fine. Now I want to add some cabins and other objects to these areas and find it's not EZ to do. Do I have to take off and fly around to re-position the plane again to add these buildings which are all fairly close to each other? Isn't here a better way to do this? I can move the objects closer and farther from the plane, and change their direction, but I can't "just move" them sideways. If I need cordinates to do this, then how do I get them, by flying around and trying to get them "on the fly" (pun intended) which I think would be very hard. Also, how do I utilize the RWY12 program to add objects too, and how do you get the cordinates for them too? Just another dummy/newbie here trying to figure this all out.

If you want to move about then put your aircraft into slew mode first. Scenery design is always done with the Sim in slew. You can then move the plane with arrow keys.

As for Rwy12 it should link to FS and you can then move your plane where you want the object and RWY12 will pick up the location.

Hey Jon - that slew mode sure makes a difference. That's exactly what I needed. I must have overlooked that in the docs someplace.
