My FS2004 Wont Work HELP

I made a bgl file to execlude some scenery objects using ExcBuilder v2. I put the file "execlude.bgl" in Addon scenery/scenery in fs2004, and went to start fs2004. I got a message about two seconds after I clicked on the Fs9 icon saying that my computer does not have enough memory to run fs2004 and i should do #### cleanup. I checked my memory and i have 85% free space. Tried again, No luck.

Take the file out.

I took the file out removed it from my computer. No luck

Hi,

this sounds a bit like a landclass file problem that was somehow buried in your installation until you forced FS to rewrite the scenery.dat file by installing your exclude file.

Check your FS for empty texture folders and delete them. (Landclass files can cause such problems if they are accompanied by an empty texyture folder) If there are no empty texture folders, landclass files can still conflict with each other. Try "FS Manager" since it has a diagnosis tool for these issues.

If that doesn't help, you can try to move your addon sceneries to a different place (since you can't start FS and disable your addons there) and check if FS starts again (it will complain that it can't find the sceneries). If your FS starts then, move the sceneries back to FS one by one until the problem comes back.
If it doesn't start with your addon sceneries moved out as well, your problem is caused by something else and I'm clueless...:/

Regarding FSManager:

I just checked it and you better forget about that. Although it identified a landclass problem for me years ago, it doesn't find 90% of the landclass files on my system now. V2.8.5 seems to be the last freeware version and it only runs if you turn the system clock back to 2005, the year of its release.
