Help w/ Textures PLEASE! DESPERATE!

Okay. Here's the scoop. FSX Deluxe around w/ Acceleration fine for a while. Then, I turned up the scenery i.e. autogen, mesh resolution, and one other thing where it increases custom buildings. I was flying fine for about 5 minutes until the scenery crashed into this blurry mixture of color. I turned the setting back to default but it still happened. Also, the ATC message box text was all either fuzzy, not there, or in some weird combination of color pixels, or just black squares. Please help! I want good graphics w/ ok performance. \

First, do you have DX-10 preview selected? If so deselect it.

Second, have you made any changes to your video card settings lately?

And third, what is your hardware configuration.?

Be sure to answer what Robin asked above and in addition, turn the PC off for awhile and back on to see if it is back. Could be overheat.

OK, we have the hardware configuration, I THINK but I am not sure this card can run DX-10 BUT, and if it can, have you tried to deselect DX-10 preview? If so any changes?

Also, do you have the latest drivers for your video card? What are your AA and anisotropic settings both in game and in the video card settings?

In addition, you seem not to realize that no application program ever interfaces with the video card hardware. Period.

ACES has coded FSX to the DX9.0 and DX10 API's precisely. It is the video card manufacturer's responsibility to code their drivers to translate the API's output to video hardware instructions.
