    Default Carrier In Free Flight?

Just wondering if anyone has figured out how to use the Aircraft carrier from Acceleration in Free Flight mode? I know I could just do the missions over again with changes enabled but it still won't allow me to do instant replays or flight videos. BTW I LOVE Acceleration and have had NO PROBLEMS with it(except DX10 preview is all choppy could just be my v-card), and in most situations I'm actually getting More FPS

You would have to place your own carrier via the Object Placement Tool (comes with the Delux version of FSX) or another similar scenery placing program. I don't have Acceleration yet but I am sure you can add the working carrier from Acceleration as a scenery object.

I think on the first disc you can find the setup for the SDK. After that download and install the update for the SDK from fsinsider.com The link below should get you up and running for creating scenery with the object placement tool.

You will also need the SP1 and SP2 for the SDK. You can find them on the Acceleration CD.

Well, it would be "funny" if it were true!

All the carriers used in the missions ARE available in "Free Flight" (aka: sandbox) mode.

Because they are AI SHIP objects though, they do "sail" on a regular basis just like all other AI SHIP objects.

Also, you need to turn "Ship Traffic" up to 100% for them all to appear in the sim.

They will all be in their "homeport" on Friday afternoons...

wow, i didnt know that. but then again i have a subpar computor so i cant really turn anything up to 100% :(
but this file seems to work with things set to minimal, i have my ship traffic set to 10%.

but if i was able to set my ship traffic to 100%, are you saying i would see the carrier battle groups like in the missions?
