    Default Memory Results

I added 1 gig of memory to make 2 gigs for my 3.4 mh Dell. At Miami International, the frame rate went from 3.7 to 5.4 with sliders unchanged. Would another gig of memory do any better?

No. Something else has changed. Adding physical system memory (RAM) will never increase the absolute framerate.

Really, I would guess you are sure, but are you sure?

I added a gig of RAM and my framerates went up. And on a separate occasion I changed and upgraded my video card, and my framerates went up.

some more ram couldn't hirt I went from 2gig up to 4gig and the fps
did go up a tad BUT the thing i noticed more than the slight increase in fps is that the sim was much smoother to fly, maybe because the ram is taking some of the load of the CPU,
hmmm smoother ride must mean more fps i suppose ? doesn't it
