I just loaded FSX standard onto my XP laptop lastnight. Runs pretty well except that after no more than 15 or 20 minutes it crashs back to desktop but shows its still running in the background on the taskbar. My processor is a 1.8 gh Core 2 Duo T2300E with 1 Gig of memory. As far as I can tell, there are no other background apps running unless you consider the wireless lan a background app. Any work arounds for this? Should I just wait for the patch? Thanks.
