Most people say YES. I have both on the same machine...Same HD, no partitions. But.. I do have occasional problems with FSX. However, I'm not about to remove FS9 to find out. FS9 has earned it's place on my machine. FSX is still on probation. SPOFF
Yes, no problem whatsoever.
FS9 and FSX are two completely independant applications on your PC.
That is: at least if you use the default Install, because of course it *possible* to ruïn any installed program if you install it to an allready used folder :-)

Yes, indeed. I have XP, and other programs, zip downloads, Fraps, My Pictures, etc, in 160 Gb C: drive. But of course, there are the FS files FS places in 'Flight Simulator Files' and under 'owner' the cfg's files. But that's it.
I have everything FS in an 80 Gb D: drive. I have FS98, FS2004, and FSX all in there, with no problems. Just watch what you put where, as Rob says.

Not one problem here. Both sims on the same machine since the release of FSX. No tweaks or re-installs either.
