Butt Kicker special price!

Of course it works with FSX! I have one, and it really kicks butt, especially at this price <g>. The feeling at taxi, takeoff and landing is very realistic. You can also feel the gear going up and down and the flaps. Impressive for such a simple but clever device.

Flightsim.com had a very good review which convinced me to buy one and I never regretted it. Se links to the review at the bottom of this page:

Is it really good? It seems intersting, but is it something that really adds the extra realism? Like does it do something during turbulance and such? It sounds cool though. Let me know.

I used it for FS9 and now I moved it to FSX. I did needed to do some fine-tuning (mainly for the filter knob) because FSX has changed some sound files - took me 30 minutes of taxi, takeoff, landing.

Now I "fly" and also feel the "motion". It uses the same technology as the Intensor chair, if anybody remembers that one, but BK can be attached to any office chair - the ones with a center column - and does not make a sound. In addition, its filters and adjustments remove a lot of false positive feedback you would get with the Intensor. Basically you can have a nice "butt kicking" flight, use your headphones and your family and neighbors wouldn't know a thing.

The BK manufacturer specializes in special motion (vibration) effects for some pro applications so it's not surprising how right they got this one. On my scale it gets an A++.
