I was pleasantly surprised to receive a phone call from MS Tech Support to see if they had corrected or helped me with an install issue. I am sold on their attempts to help the Sim Community enjoy their product. Kuddo's MS Staff for your interests and concerns I rate you as a X out of X. I still enjoy MSFS9.

Yes, Microsoft support in my experience too are overall quite good.
Of course not every person working there is a star performer, but that can hardly be expected given the size of the company (the larger the company, the easier it is for underperformers to carve out a little place for themselves where noone will notice them).
Few times I've had to deal with them they were professional and knowledgable.
