I cant believe people are complaining about frame rates, every flightsim version to come out was before its time, they make a great product and pc's need to catch up. I have had every version since the begining and had the same problem, slow frame rates. Trust me, this time next year I'm sure flightsim x will be happy running on a quad system with 4 gigs of ram with a video card I never dreamed of in the 80's running direct x 10 with Windows Vista. That bieng said start working on the tweaks, lower your sliders, turn off anti aliasing in flightsim and let your video card do it, do your research on all the tips available. More and more tips and tweaks should be available soon if not already. I have a p4 and know I wont be able to fly anywhere, I'll sit on the ramp till I buy another pc. Bye the way still waiting on my delivery from Amazon.com for my sim, cant wait even that I know I'll just be sitting there and not flying.
As far as people saying there system is locking up while trying to instal it I must say I'm surprised at that. Try getting all the updates from the windows update website, Turn off all your security stuff (virus, firewall) get the latest drivers and hope. Keep in mind that i'm just guessing, I dont have my flightsim yet. Be patient, this has been a greatest leap for flightsim and problems and compatibilty should be expected.
