Newbie to flightsim world and FSX

I have a Dell Demintion 8300

P4 3.00 GHZ
9800 DDR 128 meg Radeon Drivers udated to a Catalyst
512 meg Ram
Will this Work?



If not can I raise the Ram up to 1 gig and the video card to 256 meg and will it work?

By the way I amso excited to be part of this world now.

The simple answer is yes it will work, but it will be very very low fps even at modest rates this game is a killer there is no doubt a great game there (that you can sort of see at low sliders) but raise the bar and it's 4 to 8 fps.

you have a similiar spec to mine. if you stay out of the major cities you can run FSX just fine. bush flying and mountain flying looks great. its only when you go into cities that it crawls to a halt.

you may get some blurring with that graphics card.

what would be the problem and a solution to when I am making a turn it is like a slow frame by frame movement. It hesitates for a second or two then goes to the next frame.
