Thread: New way to increase FPS...

  1. Default New way to increase FPS...

.... well atleast it did for me. I picked up my FSX copy friday at my local gamestop (deluxe edition). I had been getting around 17 FPS no matter what settings i had tried, even with everything all the way down, the max i would get was 20, but then i saw that Thermal Visualization was set to "Natural". I set this to "None" and my fps nearly went up by 20!!! Just sharing, hope it helps. my specs are

    Pentium 4 3.0ghz
    ATI Radeon X800GTO16
    1G of ram
    80g 7,200rmp hd

Another major FPS hog is the autogen so just keep it on NORMAL and you should be ok.
