what is FSX beta? (compared to final release)

Hi,

No, ASV users had a free Upgrade. Then moving back further, AS2004 users were offered a discount when we released ASV.

So the path right now is(was) AS2004---discount---ASV---free upgrade---ASv6---free upgrade---ASv6 patched for FSX---???.

Jim: I have Active Sky 2004, bought from simmarket in 2004 or 05.
Only recently (this summer) I wanted to upgrade to AS v6, obviously I could not because I was missing this intermediate version ASV.

So I contacted ASky support through the email, the reply from your guy game shortly:

"you can not upgrade, there was no upgrade, this and that... people with AS2004 had to BUY ASV, therefore I also have to BUY the new version of AS."

I didn't buy anything and kept the old AS2004.

Please advise me on how to purchase UPGRADE to ASV, so I could then upgrade to ASv6.

Hi,

Sorry, but ASV is not for sale anymore. That e-mail was probably written by me. Your option is to purchase ASv6. The upgrade from AS2004 to ASV would have been $27.99. The cost of ASv6 is $37.99.
