Mission Based?

Hey all - with this mission based stuff, I take it there will still be free flight as in all the other sims? This one sounds great - can hardly wait. I just wonder if they had time to do an international voice set this version with controllers with different accents. Now that would really be the hook...but there's still Vatsim at least. The idea of the cars on the road sound really great, (missed that since FS2000) and the AI Jet docks, (about time!!!). I know I'll be up mighty early the release day and even request it off from work to get my copy!!!!

Indeed, free flight is most certainly not being removed at all.

Just an FYI: The three MS people I spoke to at the show kept referring to that mode as "Sandbox Mode". They were also adamant that while missions were a BIG focus of the new build, sandbox mode was still absolultely alive and well. Fans wills simply be able to choose in which direction they want to go now.

Very cool indeed......I'm more of a fly to where I want person than mission type stuff, so I'll just have to hit the "Sandbox." The new scenery sounds like it will be terriffic. I just hope the FS Genesis stuff works with it too....

can you spell.... video and picture compression...? lol

it's likely jpeg or wmv compression artifacts for the online image previews, not something in FS... dont stress...
