Thread: Wing views

  1. Default Wing views

I would like to be able to set views (FRONT, FRONT-LEFT, REAR-RIGHT, etc...) for the COCKPIT view to whatever position and height I desire. I would like this information to be saved within that airplane's config settings and not the panel settings, since many freeware airplanes use the same "generic" panels. This way each time I use an aircraft it will have the view settings I saved for it.

Many of us like to have "wing views" from within the cockpit. Active camera uses the VIRTUAL cockpit and I do not use this. I do not want to be toggling back and forth from cockpit to virtual cockpit to see the views I want.

Many of the new shareware airplanes now are built with wingviews from within the cockpit, in my opinion due to the popularity of this feature. And by the looks of the new screen shots of FSX, maybe they are looking into this as well. I think this would be a very neat enhancement!
