I would just like to know what Bill Gates fave airplane is.

I think I have had so much fun with FS that I think he deserves something in return!

someone at school told me Bill Gates could give £10,000 to everyone on the planet and still have money left over....i dont believe that at all!

Wise choice. Probably more like $15 - $20 when his fortune was at its highest in the late 90's.

Hey Andy,

I think deep down in there is still the person he always was. There are some things money cant buy.

I'll bet he still flies flight sim every once in a while in his busy schedule.

I did think on this though. Surely he 'already' had his fave planes put into Flight Simulator. ;)

Dude has mucho bucks, so he can afford to buy any plane he wants. I'm sure he even has more than just one fave plane in his hangar. Geez,the guy bought an entire island just to build his house on!!!!

Just read this on Yahoo news this morning;

NEW YORK - Time magazine has named Bill and Melinda Gates and rock star Bono its "Persons of the Year," citing their charitable work and activism aimed at reducing global poverty and improving world health.

Time praised the Gateses for building the world's largest charity — The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, which has a $29 billion endowment — and for "giving more money away faster than anyone ever has" in 2005.

The foundation has saved at least 700,000 lives in poor countries by investing in vaccination programs, has donated computers and Internet access to 11,000 libraries and has sponsored the biggest scholarship fund in history, the magazine said.

Actually, he has little interest in autos or aircraft. He drives a older Lexus, and uses laptops for all his work. He doesn't take showers, only baths so he can multitask while he bathes. He does like houses - 39 rooms in Redmond. Some are used as test beds for new MS multimedia technology. I really doubt that he runs FS or has a favorite Aircraft. He is all work and no play. His wife is even a MS employee. That's how they met.
