Thread: Ariane 737 Classic Panel / Wilco 737 Semi - Glass Panel

  1. Default Ariane 737 Classic Panel / Wilco 737 Semi - Glass Panel

    Hello Everyone,

I'm very new to modifying panels. In fact I've only experimented here and there with FS panel studio a few years back. I want to use Wilco's 737 aircraft and the majority of it's panel. However, I would like to use the front main panel of Ariane's more classic 737 panel to model Continental's 737-300 configuration. I also would like to use the bulk of Wilco's panel and just use the Ariane engine guages to model the Continental 737-500. I want to be able to use the Wilco FMS in conjuction with the Ariane modifications and was just wondering if this is possible. Im not sure if there is anything that would prevent me from merging the two together considering they are payware products. Just wanted some advice before I invest in an updated version of FS panel studio. Thanks in advance for any info...

Eric, I don't own either of the two packages, but in general terms I'll offer the advice to not bother wasting either your time or money...

The chief reason is that esoteric gauges such as FMS/FMC's have to "communicate" with other gauges in any given package.

It is 100% certain that the Wilco FMS would not be able to integrate with, or communicate with any of the Airiane guages, or vice-versa.

Additionally, there are probably licence validation cross-checks programmed into either/both company's gauge system to prevent them from operating at all if any attempt is made to use only portions of the entire gauge system.
