Adding default VC to non-default AC

Hey guys, hope this isn't a repeated topic- I searched but had little luck.
I'm attempting to add the default 737-400 virtual cockpit to a freeware 737 I downloaded. I've copied the default panel into the downloaded aircraft but can't see the VC yet. I've glanced around at the config lines a bit, but can't seem to figure it out. Any advice is appreciated.

The vc is part of the model, not the panel. What you're asking isn't possible.
