It has been reported in a few occasions that the AutoInstall Downloader reports errors after clicking the AutoInstall link on the file library. Here are a few hints to troubleshoot this and possible causes/solutions:
1. Try the regular download link instead. If this does not work either, then there must be a problem with your internet connection (settings) and/or the library is not accessible.
2. If the regular download works, check your firewall settings. FS-AOM needs authorization for establishing outbound TCP connections in order to connect to the library. See you firewall's documentation on how to allow an application to make outbound connections. For FS-AOM, you must allow AddonMgr.exe, located in the FS-AOM program folder (by default C:\Program Files\FS Addon Manager).
3. If you use a HTTP-Proxy, make sure you performed the correct settings in your Internet Settings (IE6). The AutoInstall Downloader uses those.
