Maybe because there wasn't any notice of the old site shutting down and the forums being moved here temporarily? :)

I posted notice here that the forums were moved here, and also tried to post over at avsim but of course Tom wasn't kind and he removed my post.

Dan, there's no "temp" page on the website saying that it's here, or at the forum direct-link either, so it's GOING to be slow becase not everyone that frequents the SGA forum is a member of the Flightsim.com forums too. I've seen posts on other forums asking what happened to the site.

Had you and Jon thought through the closure of the website and forum, you would have realized that MAYBE it would be a good idea to post a temporary web page that says - "We're closed to revamp our site's security, please visit our temporary forums located at the Flightsim.com Forums. You can reach the forums here- http://www.flightsim.com/"

Takes 10 seconds to do, and you don't have to worry about spreading the word via hundreds of other forums.

Chris, maybe you missed the part about Jon shutting down the entire server until further security devices could be implemented. Had the server been kept online of course there would've been a statement page, but no server equals no space to host anything.

Ill post a notice on my site,that you guys are over here.
What was the deal with Tom not posting about SGA's forum being moved over here?....Maybe he's P.O.'d cause ya didnt move it to there forums...Figures though...Thats why,after 4-1-05 I will no longer upload anything over at AVSIM....All my work will be on my site and here at flightsim.com.
