Archer III startup problem

I have just got the Archer III. I seem to have a problem turning on the magneto switches. When I click them they flick back to off instantly, so I can't start the engine.

Just loaded the Baron up and the same thing happens, Ctrl E won't start them either.

Yes he was having a cup of tea sat on the grass, anyway sorted it out, like a fool I had a saved flight loaded and switched to the Archer instead of loading it from fresh.
