I have the same Piper Archer III aircraft,only I'm one of those people who still has it in FS 2002.I always thought the same thing about it, too. Just assumed it was the way I was flying the aircraft or had it set up wrong. Anyway, will try making those changes (but back up .cfg file first) and see if it works for me, too...
