B58 loud sound set

Anyone else not able to load the loud sound set (no headphones) from in the cockpit. This option works fine on my A36 but it seems to be the only thing I can't get to work with the Baron. Anyone have any suggestions on what I could be doing wrong? I am using the configurator in the 2d cockpit to try and load them up.

I had something similar to this (actually the inverse) while in beta testing, but it was mostly my fault for changing some cfg's around ;-).

Are you clicking "save?"

I've been using them without a problem here (My David Clark headset doesn't have ANR :P).

OK, call me dumb, I didn't hit the save button. I can't remember doing that in the A36 but who knows.

Awesome aircraft that Baron. Only thing I can bi$#% about are the frame rates but then again, people tell me FS souldn't even be running on my machine at the settings I have. The plane is so awesome though, it may be the final push I need to go and buy a new PC.

Which bring me to the next question and I hate to even ask out of fear of a runaway thread but what the heck:

Intel or AMD?

I used to be AMD, now I'm an Intel HT convert. The main reason I switched was a much quieter computer, but I find the Intel HT now seems to be a match for the equivalent AMDs. Sure I paid $50 more but the peace and quiet is well worth it!

Buy a good aftermarket fan. Fan noise solved.
