Thread: Archer II ignition switch

    Default Archer II ignition switch

Just d/l and purchased the Piper Archer II. Looks and works fine so far, but if turn the ignition key off (left past Both, L and R) for a proper shutdown, I can't turn the key on again. Only way to restart is by using Ctrl-E.

The cursor shows a + when over the key, but never changes to a - (minus) regardless of where the cursor is placed around the ignition key.

    Any suggestions?

Other than that it's a nice aircraft. Thanks.
    Tom

I'd suggest right-clicking to start the ignition while left-clicking to shut it off. The cursor (+) will not change...

All explained in the manual, which is required reading. This ignition switch has gone on to become out standard for all DF GA products. :-)
