    Default Saved Flights ???

    Hi All,,,
First let me say what a great fan I am of Dreamfleet A/C.... The A36 is without a doubt the best plane I have in my hanger, and I have tried almost all of them out there..... I'm currently experiencing a minor problem though. At the end of a flight I save it and exit,,,,
When restarting the flight some time later, everything is fine except the gns430 GPS is off, like no power to it. If I choose another A36 variation it's fine. So, I either have to choose another A36 or reset the flight to get the GNS to work. Any ideas?????
Other than this minor problem, this Bird is wonderful, Thank You Dreamfleet for a real as it gets A/C

    Thank You,
    GTO340

GTO...Did you initially load the A36 from the FS9 default Cessna flight at Tacoma?...If not then load that default flight and when settled there in the Cessna cockpit, select your A36...When it has loaded, take it to where you want it, set it up how you like it with radio aids date time season etc. and then Save the flight.

In future, that saved flight and any other saved flight derived from that one should work perfectly...But, do make sure that you start in the 2D cockpit so that everything initialises properly.

    Peter,
No I didn't,,, Will do that and report back to you.

Thank You so much for your reply. I've also enjoyed following your flights, and posts here at the forum. And also the progress of the Bandit II.

I find your web site very interesting especially the photos, as I'm somewhat of a WWII history buff. Especially anything to do with aviation.

I'm an old PPL fair weather pilot myself. Unfortunatly I havn't flown in quite some time. However I really enjoy FS9 and have learned so much that I'm seriously considering starting to study for my Instrument rating.

I've recently downloaded your Bandit Kit for the Archer P28, and am looking forward to building the same. Hope you do something similar for the Beech Bandit II.

    Respectfully Yours,

    No luck!

Not really a big deal though, but just pesty,,,,I'm more curious tweaking this thing and finding out the problem than anything else.

    I'm still open to suggestions,,,,,,

    Thanks

    Hmmm,

There is something that you are doing that I don't, and I can't quite figure out what it is.

Just a shot in the dark...When you save the flight you are not by any chance in the VC are you?

If you are, just try it again but save the flight in the 2D cockpit.

    gto340,

You will enjoy flying the "Legendary Team" aircraft (built with Bandit Kit) and the performance is upgraded to that of the Piper Dakota. The engine is a turbo, there is a CS prop and you can fly it up in the Flight Levels. They have a performance superior to that of the standard A36. Bandit II boosts the A36 Bonanza performance to even better, as can be seen in my various posts.

Yes, I will eventually do a "Bandit II Kit", probably with a selection of Panel.cfg files, one of which will give the identical panel to mine, provided the user has the SimFlyer stuff installed. All performance aspects will be identical to mine, including the views. I'm not in a rush to build this kit though...I want to concentrate on my touring and display flying with some new stunts designed for "Little Bandit" :)

Yes, I'm in the 2D cockpit....... What I am going to try is remove and reinstall, then start at the default field. Will let you know.

BTW I love your panel in the Bandit II. Looking forward to it, and I have all the Realty XP stuff.

    Thank You for the reply,

gto...I'm afraid I don't use the Reality XP GNS on my panel in "Little Bandit". The GNS530 and the Audio Controller and the Transponder are the SimFlyer stuff that I referred to in my previous answer. It would be possible to build a similar panel with the Reality XP gauges but I do not have them, so I can't do it myself.

I would also suggest saving your flight plan in the GNS40.
