A36 Radios - VC vs pop up

I just noticed last night that I can not operate the radios correctly in VC mode. I have to use the pop up radio stack. Example, if I click the switch comm frequency in the VC it appears to switch but nothing happens. If I pop up the stack, the frequencies have not switched. Also tuning the radio in VC appears to work but no changes are made in the pop up stack.

This was just a quick observation. If it is not a known issue I will try to do a little more testing.

Any ideas?

There is no issue with the radios in VC. The radios located on the right seat are for NAV2/COM2. When you pop the radio stack it shows the NAV1/COM1(which doesn't exist in VC, just for ease of use) AND NAV2/COM2. Now normal operation of radios is done through your GNS430 and you can switch between NAV1/COM1 to NAV2/COM2 by right clicking one of the COM/VLOC (it will show a "2"). So if you wanna see if the radio radio stack works, switch to "2" in the GNS430 and change the frequencies using the knobs of bendix/king radios (you'll see they change accordinly in the GNS430).
If you don't know how to operate the Garmin GPS, I suggest going through the tutorials and real world manual.

Thanks GP. Somehow I had missed that in the manual.

I do know how to operate the 430 assuming it is much like the 530... I just forgot about the radio controls there. :)
