Thread: A36 + Reality XP

    Default A36 + Reality XP

I have been looking forward to the release of this plane and am downloading it now! I am a registered user of the full version of the Reality XP 430 unit and am worried that installing the Beech A36 will screw up things or lead to double installations of the Garmin trainer or overwrite important in my installation of the Reality XP for example.

Is there anything to worry about or can I just click on that installer without a care in the world? I am pretty sure this has been anticipated and my worries are for naught but it never hurts to ask.

On another note, I love the Dreamfleet products and I am sure the fact that Lou is an active real world pilot makes a huge difference. I am a pp student and just have to get my checkride done to get my ticket.
I am especially enthusiastic about buying the Beech A36 because of a friend from church who was a pilot loved this plane and he cannot pass his medical anymore due to a stroke in his prime. I am hoping to introduce him to the world of flight simming using this plane!

There should be no issue at all. As far as the trainer, it'll just reinstall the trainer over the original. This has never been an issue throughout testing and many reinstalls.

    Hi Bob,

You can go ahead without a worry. The RealityXP gauges included are a special version, with different filenames, and will install neatly next to your exisiting RealityXP gauges.

The installer includes the Garmin trainer, but it is an optional install. In your case, just uncheck the option on the end page of the Bonanza's RealityXP installer.

    Best regards, Elmar

I take it the RXP avionics are not transferrable to another panel?

    Hi,

I have the Garmin 500 trainer. Can I skip the installation of the Garmin 400 in the process of the A36 setup?

    Thanks

    Edmundo

    Hi Edmundo,

Nope, the Garmin 400 and 500 series trainer are 2 different things :)
