Thread: Would you buy a DF 707??

  1. Default Would you buy a DF 707??

I've brought up the thought, before, and the DF guys wanted to do something not done by somebody else, which I can understand.

But just for SnG's, I'd like to know how many of you would buy a Boeing 707 if Dreamfleet (or someone else, other than CS) did one? Also, if you reply, do you own the CS 707?

    I'd buy a DF or F1 707 and I own the CS 707.

I'd post a "poll" but I don't seem to have that option?

I wouldn't buy one, but I guess if I was a bigger 707 fan, I would. I do have the CS707 but I deleted it because it's a framerate pig (I'm getting close to doing the same with the DF Baron, same reason.)
What I really want more than anything is the 737-200!

I would be the FIRST in line to pick this gem up. Yes, I do own the CS707. However, DF makes a MUCH MORE REALISTIC rendition of the flight deck, & ESPECIALLY the flight dynamics. So...count me in!

I'd buy it, but I doubt I'd fly it as much as the 727. Yes, it would be a much newer (and therefore probably better) FS production, but 4-engined longhaul airliners are more complex to flight-plan for, and to start and manage. Personally I prefer a lighter FS experience - a smaller airliner would suit me more. My absolute ideal would be the Britten-Norman Trislander... but I digress!

The sad reality is that the return for such complex simulations isn't worth it. Whilst I'm quite sure most users of this forum would happily buy it, that just isn't enough people.....sorry.

On the hand..............think lateral, same era ;-) (let's just say I'm working on something)

I would buy it, but my preference would be the DC8. I did not buy the CS707 because, fortunately for me, a friend of mine bought it, and after I flew a few flights I knew I wasn't interested.

Honestly, I would buy anything from Dreamfleet since the 727 and I actually have and I will keep doing it lol even if it is a plane I do not really like, like the Baron, but funny thing is.. I LOVE it now only reason being was I was used to the rotten quality of the default Baron but this DF version... wow wow !!

Id love to have the DC8!! If that is what you're hinting at. (I hope)

The different variants and a cargo version would be awesome!!

I wouldn't buy a 707 not a plane that interests me. But I'd love to have a DC8,DC10 or even a MD11 of the same quality as the 727.
